Battery Replacement for 11" 2011 MacBook Air.

My Problem

I have had the MacBook sense 2011 and recently have dealt with power issues. Battery status indicated that a replacement was needed.

My Fix

I downloaded and printed the Very easy to read and follow instructions that IFixit provided, along with the replacement battery, which was easy to locate and order from IFixit, and I also bought a complete tool set with all the needed tools for the job. I was able to easily follow the instructions, remove the old battery and replace it with the new battery. The entire process took less then 30 minutes to complete.

My Advice

Use IFixit! By searching, following their instructions, and fully knowing what I needed to do, I was able to complete the repair. I also saved an incredible amount of money by using IFixit over going to a "professional" repair store. Thank you IFixit!
