iPod Classic replacement battery
My Fix
I ordered a replacement battery from another vendor. There was no mention of a thin or thick model. Hence, the battery did not fit. ifixit had the correct battery. The fit was perfect.
My Advice
Opening the iPod can be difficult-search around for tips.
