Worked like a charm!

My Problem

All of a sudden my computer would fail to startup. Instead I would get the outline of a folder with a question mark in it. A friend took my computer apart and said that I needed a new hard drive cable. I went to the local apple repair store to see if they had the part on hand. They proceeded to tell me I needed a new computer bc everything was wrong with it. I decided to order the part through iFixit to see if it would solve the problem.

My Fix

The part came in on time. My friend did the repair in between our classes. It seemed super easy.

My Advice

He did t have any trouble fixing it.
