My Problem
Hard drive problems. I had too much data and the disk failed ! Service estimate was $199. for a 1TB HDD and $199 for the service., a total of $400 without taxes. Bought a 1TB HDD kit and saved $250. +.
My Fix
Easy repair. Up and running in no time. My 'Vintage' Macbook Pro (2009) is as fast as new. Will buy a new battery. Old disk was re-formatte and is now used as an external 320GB storage. Even included the tools needed and more!!
My Advice
Save time and money with ifixit. Repair was a breeze. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. STRONGLY recommended !!
