My Problem
I had dropped my iPhone and the fall broke the glass on the phone.
My Fix
After receiving a replacement display from IFIXIT and receiving their detailed step by step online instructions and watching a related video of the same process on fixit.com I decided to attempt the repair. In addition to the tools that I had obtained from an earlier project and using a jeweler's bench mounted magnifying glass with light (absolutely neccesary for me) I was able to repair my phone in about 45 minutes. Could have completed the task quicker but I gave the phone a thorough cleaning during the repair. I am happy to say the phone looks and performs like new. Even with old eyes, I was able to make the repair with relative ease.
