My Problem
An SUV ran over my phone after it fell out of my hoodie pouch while loading groceries from Costco.When I showed my engineer son the lines on my phone and told him about it making random phone calls he said the digityzer probably had probably been scrunched (there wasn't a scratch on the phone) and knew about ifixit. So I ordered a new screen/digityzer.
My Fix
The part came in speedy time and he popped out the old, popped in the new and voila..a like-new phone for hundreds less than a new one.
My Advice
Nope. Unless you count having a brilliant son advice.
