My Problem
Original MBP battery had worn out.
Original iPhone4s battery had worn out.
My Fix
My MacBookPro has a user replaceable battery so there was no challenge there, but so far the iFixIt battery seems just fine...only one cycle on it so far.
The pentalobe screwdriver to open the iPhone worked fine, of course, and the replacement battery was easy to install. The phone works GREAT now...I had forgotten how good it could be.
My Advice
Don't use a metal tool to pry the battery connector off, use the plastic spudger. Even if you only touch the outside housing, there appears to be at least one metal surface nearby that is energized, and so you can damage things if you short it to the battery connector metal housing.
