My Problem
Old battery would not hold charge.
My Fix
OK, but had a problem with getting the battery connector mated with phone. I could not get the plastic sleeve in the phone that houses the contact pins to accept the connector on the battery pack. I ultimately slid the sleeve off the pins and removed it from the phone entirely, then connected the battery pack. Phone works fine. Took about 30 minutes.
My Advice
Make sure you work carefully and do not exert excessive force. I'm sure the connector pins in the phone would have bent or broken off if I had attempted to force it in.
