How does a sata cable go bad inside the Mac when there are no moving parts involved?!

My Fix

Easy peasey! Couple of screws, pop this cable, unscrew that, reverse the process a BAM! Back in business! Easiest repair ever'

My Advice

Don't be afraid to take the back off your MacBook!
