My Problem
So after an Android update to lollipop, my Nexus 7 (2013) stopped in the middle of the process and never responded again. I learned that there was an issue with the update and the motherboard so it needed to be replaced but ASUS charged somewhere around $200 USD if the tablet was out of guarantee (duh!) .
So I looked around ebay for parts and I found some...cheaper than iFixIt but I believe to be less reliable for me (they had to send it to Mexico).
But the part was out of stock in iFixIt so I waited about 3 months until they got one and without any doubt I bought it.
My Fix
It went excelent !!
I just took some 10+ deep breaths and I was up to the task. You have to be patient and follow all the instructions (from iFixIt) very carefully.
Now my Nexus 7 (2013) is running, updated with the latest lollipop release and waiting to see if Android M would fit on it.
iFixIt has a great service, parts look like new and the tutorials are amazing.
My Advice
iFixIt.
