My Problem
As my hard disk space was being used up and my RAM was only at half of the full potential, my 2010 MacBook Pro became too slow and VERY laggy.
My Fix
I ordered the full capacity (8 gig ) RAM and a new 1 Tb Hard Disk (up from 320 Gig) - I followed an online tutorial to clone my drive - this took several hours but was not too complicated.
once my drive was cloned onto the new one, it was as simple as following the ifitit.com online tutorials and unscrewing/uplugging and then replugging and rescrewing
My Advice
I feel like I upgraded to a brand-new MacBook Pro - speed is fantastic!
