New SSD on iMac: Easy task but be careful.

My Problem

My late 2012 iMac was running very very slow. I decided it was time to upgrade the Hard Disk. So I decided tu buy a 250GB SSD from Samsung and bought the kit from iFixit to do it myself.

My Fix

Very easy task, took me about an hour to do it and to test it. Nothing went wrong, you just have to be careful following the steps in the corresponding manual.

My Advice

I am a systematic and careful person so making this task was easy for me. But I think the average person should be careful when opening the iMac. And also the final step when closing it... if you do not align the monitor crystal properly you will have wasted the lower sticker.
