My Problem
My iPhone 5 power button only worked sometimes. For a few dollars I replaced the power cable and battery and should be good for another 2 years. The new iPhone 6 is just not in the budget right now.
My Fix
The guides were great. Couldn't do the job without them. The pictures could be a little clearer with more detail. The Audio/Power Button replacement cable take a long time to replace. Over 2 hours for me and that's probably only because I was being extra cautious. I ordered 2 cables so I can replace my sons iPhone where the volume button isn't working.
My Advice
The tweezers are a must. Be careful picking up the screws they sometimes want to pop out and fly across the kitchen.Took 15 minutes to locate a lost screw. The iScrews iPhone tray is also a must but seemed to lack all the screw locations when dismantling 95% of the phone. Next job I may consider buying a pack of extra screws.
