DID IT - Fixed the shattered screen on my iPhone 5S with the repair kit

My Problem

I dropped my iPhone 5S and shattered the screen

My Fix

It was a little tough at first, the screen was so shattered, the suction cup couldn't get a good grip, so I had to use a razor blade to pry up the LCD/screen. We went slow, used cups to store the small screws as we went along (I put them on a piece of paper and then wrote a number on the paper below the cup, sometimes also a picture so we could keep track of where they came from), and followed along an instructional video from youtube. Finishing, I did lose one of the screws. Put the phone back together ... and ... the screen and LCD, fingerprint reader, camera, speaker, and microphone work GREAT. It's getting spotty cell service, so it looks like I might have damaged something besides the screen in the fall. :(

My Advice

Use a good light source. Keep track of your screws/small parts in some way. take your time.
