My Fix

Process took at least an hour and was very tedious. The flat head screwdriver that comes with the kit is too small, but I fortunately happened to have a tiny screwdriver. When I turned it on it was perpetually searching for service but my wifi worked... a quick internet search showed I needed to manually change the date and time then change it back to automatic and all was well!

My Advice

Prepare some kind of mat or compartment to know exactly where you place every screw - because they are different. iFixit should really give people a mat to place all the tiny screws/parts. They should also give you the proper size flat head screwdriver - because I'm assuming most people won't have one sitting around!
