My Problem
Well I just got out of my shift at the bar, and a couple of customers had bought me shots at quit time. When I went to go home I got on my bike, and realized my music wasn't playing,. I whipped out my phone to get it going and I dropped it, right on the corner. The screen was fine, but the digitizer went bad from the drop. Right before my cruise.
My Fix
The repair went smoothly ish. I was incredibly confused when it came to switching out the assembly with the front camera. I actually messed it up a tiny bit I think as the speaker sounds funny now. Other than that small issue the repair was easy as pie. I could see some people struggling with it but It's all pretty much in the guide.
My Advice
When you're removing the gold connector for the headset speaker, you have to pry it at the corner, right by the frame. That took me a while to figure out. Next up I have to replace my lightning port whenever I get around to it.
if you're not replacing your camera, don't peel up the sticker on the back!!!
DON'T REMOVE THE STICKER!
