My Problem
Whenever I get a hold of electronics something bad is bound to happen to them. This is due to the fact that even though I know how to use them I am not very kind to them. My Ipad is no exception and had many cracks before I went in for the fix.
My Fix
The repair in total took me 2 hours. Buying the kit with the digitizer, which comes bundled together for 50 dollars, is all I needed to get the job done.
My Advice
The only thing that I can say is that it is not necessary to remove the home button ribbon if that is not the issue. All that has to be done is heat up the bottom part of the previous digitizer and connect it to the new one. This can help save some time.
