My Problem
I've had my iphone 5 since 2013, and in the past months it would die within 30 minutes. I had to carry a charger everywhere I went and it began to become tedious. I was planning on just getting an iphone 6 however the next iphone should be here soon so I decided to wait and just get a new battery.
My Fix
The repair was very easy as I just followed the guide. The battery was slightly hard to get out but I took my time as the guide said and got it out no problem. When I powered on my phone I did get white lines, but the guide tells you how to fix that if it happens, and yes I got the white lines fixed no problem.
My Advice
The battery life is just like when I first got this phone. I no longer have to worry about it dying and no longer have to carry a charger. MY ADVICE: if you need a new iphone 5 battery that will work like new, ifixit is the only way to go. Thanks ifixit
