My Problem
After 2 years of using this phone without a case because I'm a purist and like how thin it is, I learned that even if I drop it once a week and never break it, if I hand it to someone else, they WILL drop it and it WILL break.
My Fix
I was certainly a bit intimidated because although I work on cars and build engines do very delicate work, I don't work on things quite this small. I followed the guide and it went smooth as glass. I'd agree that the most difficult part is the home button, but all you need is a bit of patience. There's a gasket at the front of the front-facing camera that was askew even since new and I always worried I would get it wrong during reassembly, so I tried to straighten it out, only to tear it slightly, but I just put everything together straight as possible and it's all good.
My Advice
Do remember to aim the camera when reassembling. I'd read this before and found out there is quite a bit of wiggle room in there which I imagine could be problematic.
