My Problem
Wife dropped her phone and cracked the display about two years ago and we got a new one since contract was up we got a new one and use the other for just playing music. Now last week she dropped the second one, the displays are now so economical (the used one said shows some ware: I had a hard time figuring out which was the new one) I got two displays and figured I would fix them both (and have a back up in case I screwed one up)
My Fix
Older phone went so smooth (only issue I had was at step 17: the power button cable was marked blue but not outlined in the picture. I had to look elsewhere its under the headphone/volume cable). The second phone did not go so well, the 6 screws from step 35 and 36 did not want to loosen at all... after about 30 min messing with them I used a pair of needle nose pliers to get them loose. Everything finished up great. Now I two phones are working like new.
