Battery worked fine. Phone, not so much.

My Problem

Water damaged phone. And, I damaged the battery while removing it.

My Fix

The owner left it assembled with the battery connected too long. It worked when I was done, but died by the time the owner got home. I pulled the mother board, and had the owner put all of the parts in rice over the weekend. But, it was too late. Also, I damaged the battery when I removed it. Note to iPhone 5s repairers. there is a command strip type pull tab to remove the battery. Don't bother prying it up.
