MacBook Pro Wouldn't Flow!

My Problem

Upon startup, my MacBook Pro had a folder with a flashing question mark. After swapping the hard drive, it still wouldn't work except by booting it up externally via USB. I then checked ifixit and learned that hard drive/sata cable was more than likely the cause.

My Fix

Ifixit was correct. Once I replaced the hard drive /sata cable, it booted up without a hitch. Problem solved.

My Advice

Save yourself a lot of money, and do the repair yourself. It's fairly easy, and ifixit instructions/video will guide you through the repair.
