need to be prepared for those hinges

My Problem

after a head butt to my closed Macbook Pro (don't ask), the right half of the screen had gone wonky.

My Fix

I was being overly cautious but still had it powered back up and working within the hour.

My Advice

during reassembly, reconnecting the 3 Airport / Camera wires (step 5) was really frustrating. just take your time reconnecting those three and don't force them.

the hinges on my replacement assembly were tight. absolutely impossible to open up by hand. if that's common, ifixit might want to add a small pair of needle nose pliers to the tools section (or a better recommendation if there is one).
