My Problem
The internal storage memory of the 256GB SSD was too small.
My Fix
The repair was as simple as 1, 2, 3 (actually 1 thru 12, then 12 thru 1 - done and a second SSD of 500GB was added in about 2 hours.
My Advice
Just have all the right tools from "ifixit", follow all the instructions to the letter, and don't rush or force it, and it should work for you (it did for me).
