My Problem
I received an iPhone 5 as gift from my family and it had the worst battery life of any phone I've ever owned. After looking around the internet, I figured the best thing to do was to replace the battery. So I decided to hit up IFIXIT since they are always on all the tech blogs I read.
My Fix
The repair went super smooth and a lot easier than I expected. I bought the battery and toolkit and even though it was a little pricier here, I knew I could trust the quality of the battery since this site is hugely popular around the internet. I think the hardest part of the repair was prying the old battery off the iPhone, that thing is glued down with some industrial adhesive, so it was a pain trying to be gentle yet use force.
My Advice
Be very very careful when removing the old battery, whatever type of adhesive Apple uses works too well.
