My Problem
Two fans in the last 7 years started making noises, the original and a replacement from the cheapest place I could find 2 years ago. The iFixit one is quieter from day one than the cheap one was years ago. Very satisfied.
My Fix
Very easy on the Unidody Macbook. Took 5-6 minutes.
My Advice
Simple task. Keep track of the screws and where they go. I laid mine in the order I took them out, clockwise. And be careful when you disconnect the fan wire, it can break easily.
Take your time. Watch the video help. It is an easy task for even the unexperienced.
