My Problem
Ok so I thought the dock connector on my iPhone 5 was not working correctly so I ordered a new one from iFixit. Item was shipped fast, packed beautifully and was in brand new condition.
My Fix
Repair went without a hitch. Followed the guide on the iFixit website and boom! In and working!
My Advice
Here's the thing, after I installed the new connector I read some of the comments and one person mentioned something so obvious that I had not thought of.... Lint!! So after reading the comment I took the old connector grabbed a thin tooth pick and pulled a wad of lint out of it! Dang! Check first, that might be the problem. Still no complaints, iFixit rocks.
