My Problem
I bought a used MacBook Pro 15 Early 2008 that appeared to have a bad hard disk. After replacing the drive the problem remained. I was able to verify that original disk drive was actually not bad. The next logical suspect part was the Hard Drive Cable.
My Fix
IFixIt had the cable at a great price and a very helpful "howto" guide for the replacement. All went well.
My Advice
Finding IFixIt was the biggest "enlightenment" of this repair. Good prices, good service and great advice; what more could you ask.
