15 - 30 minutes

Moderate

My Problem

The fan started to be noisy and quite annoying.

Hoping noisy sound would just go away bit did not, LOL.

My Fix

The process went well except for one nasty screw that won't unscrew easily.

And by the way, the Phillips #00 screwdriver you sent didn't work well and did not fit the screws... So I had to get a better one.

The DIY guide you provided just nailed it!

My Advice

Get an extra Phillips #00 screwdriver on hand to make sure.

Follow every instruction in the guide to the letter and everything will be fine!

Work on top of white cloth, so no jumping around of screws as you take them off the laptop. And you can easily see the screws on the cloth before taping them together. I did not use a white cloth so i lost a small one.

I had every screw taped and labeled per step so no mix up happened as I backtracked to reseal the MacBook.
