iMac 27 2012 Fan and HD replacement.

My Problem

The fan had a rattling noise and I decided to change also the hard drive if I was going to open my iMac. I bought a Seagate 2 TB hybrid disk for the replacement. The fan I bought it on eBay.

My Fix

Everything went fine, iFixit really helped me, thank you so much guys!!! All steps are clear and the strips fit perfectly on the screen. I was afraid that the screen could be not in the right position but my iMac looks like a new one! Now the new fan works perfect and I have a faster HD drive, Im very happy with the results.

My Advice

I recommend you to take a look to iFixit Youtube Channel. I read so many times the instructions on the web site but what really helped me, was to take a look to the videos. They are very well explained and will help you to understand all the procedure.
