My Problem
My iPhone 3GS would not hold a charge. I knew it was the battery as I could use it as long as I wanted to as long as it was plugged into the charger, but off the charger it only lasted a few minutes. After looking at some youtube videos, I decided to try replacing the battery myself.
My Fix
The repair went GREAT! Everything I needed was in the kit I bought from IFIXIT and with the help of instructions on youtube videos I was able to complete the repair easily.
My Advice
I am a 57 year old woman with very little experience in fixing electronic devices. If I can do it, anyone can! Just take your time, watch a few different videos, and follow instructions step by step. Thank you IFIXIT for selling complete repair kits and providing instructions. Not only did I save money, but it gave me a tremendous sense of satisfaction to be able to fix my iPhone myself!
