My Problem
Bought my 3GS at the end of January 2014. Then in April of 2014 i dropped it and cracked the screen. So i used it with the cracked screen until about 2 months ago when i tried cleaning the dust from under the LCD, and ended up cracking the LCD. Basically making the phone useless. So i decided it was time for a repair.
My Fix
The repair went swell. Overall, took me less than 20 minutes. It took me a few minutes to get the number 3 connector to slide in the spot, but i eventually got it. The only complaints i have are that the home button is slightly crooked, and for some odd reason the glass at the top of the screen sticks out a tiny bit. Most likely because the cables were stiff. It took me a little while to get the screen in place to close it up, but i got it. :)
My Advice
Make sure you have the proper tools before attempting anything that seems risky.
