My Problem
My battery was worn out and discharged very quickly.
My Fix
The removal of the old battery went fine with the use of your instructions. And the replacement went fine until I lost one of the two screws I needed to secure the battery connector. Wow, are those screws tiny! I order a set of screws from Ebay and after getting the replacement screws, I had the phone back together in 5 minutes.
I checked the battery after installation to determine if it was really new using iBackupBot for iTunes, and it showed the battery was brand new (1 charge cycle)!
My Advice
Place your tools and your phone in a wide clean area and preferably on a magnetized mat/surface. (The screws are attracted to the magnetic mat and won't roll around.) Be very careful as you handle the tiny little screws; they fly very easily.
