My Problem
My iPhone's battery would not hold a charge and would turn off with as much as 50% charge remaining.
My Fix
The repair went perfectly. I've done my own repairs on my Apple devices for years but never the iPhone. After watching the online video from iFixIt I downloaded the pdf repair manual and put it on my iPad. The video and pdf manual are both very straight forward and accurate. The whole repair took about 15 minutes. My iPhone now works as good as new.
My Advice
The screws are some of the smallest I've ever seen. Be careful you don't lose them. One is not attracted to a magnetic screwdriver. The most difficult part was getting the screen separated from the body. While using the suction cup to lift off the display I found a third hand helpful for inserting the plastic spudger.
