My Problem
The screen broke when it fell off a table onto a ceramic tile floor
My Fix
The repair went decent. It was my first time taking apart an iPad and truthfully the screen was a pain to take off, especially given that it was in a ton of different pieces. Ended up cutting through the wifi antenna in the disassembly. Purchased a replacement for $4 from Amazon..... And it was faulty. Purchased a reconditioned wifi antenna from fixit.com and it worked perfectly. Put everything back together and it's worked great ever since then.
My Advice
Don't cut through the wifi antenna. And if you do spend the extra $8 for a good replacement
