Unreliable Lightning connector and faulty power button

My Problem

Unreliable Lightning connector and faulty power button. Charged intermittently and power button failed to work at all.

My Fix

Watched some YouTube videos and got the parts required. Repaired both parts (which were very fragile) at the same time, it only took about 90 minutes. Very straightforward.

My Advice

The only thing I would do differently is catalogue the screws. It took a few tries to get the right ones each time.
