My Problem
The home button on my iPhone 5 fell off and could not use the phone anymore.
My Fix
It went very well. I bought the button and the tools from your site and I used the excellent video that you guys made. I followed it to the letter and had no issues, it took me set by step until the job was completed. I was done in less than 30 minutes.
I did not have the heat pad so I used a blow dryer to help loosen up the button cable very carefully which I would not recommend doing. But, if you have no choice set it to the lowest level of heat and air speed and keep it away from the tiny screws. I was done in about 30 minutes.
My Advice
Get the tools for the job because it will make your job go without a hitch and do not deviate from the video instructions.
