Nexus 7 (Gen 2) Front Panel - Quick Fix without a Hitch

My Problem
Not sure how, but the Nexus 7 (2nd Gen) developed a crack across the entire screen, taking out the touch sensitivity with it. After watching a few videos about replacing the screen and digitizer without replacing the LCD, we thought twice about attempting that and decided to take a chance on a "C" quality front panel assembly with the LCD included.
My Fix
The most difficult part of the repair was finding an appropriately sized screwdriver. Following a teardown video, the repair took less than an hour (didn't time it) and went very well. The "C" grade screen had a couple of small chips on the edge of the frame and case smudges on corners, but works great and looks good.
My Advice
Not wanting to spend a lot on a broken device, we risked the "C" grade screen and were very happy with the result. The full assembly was also a good decision, as it was just a matter of moving the entire thing into place - no prying, peeling, heating, adhesive issues to worry about. Just be sure to keep track of which screws go where.
