A++ Used Tools to Replace HDD with SSD in MacBook Pro A1261

My Problem

I can't believe it took me until this year to realize I could replace the HDD in my MBP with a SSD. Read up on it to make sure it would work, ordered a drive from elsewhere and used these tools and the teardown guides on iFixIt.

My Fix

Total success - like having a brand new computer!

My Advice

Everything went smoothly. The whole operation took less than 10 minutes.
