My Problem
From a previous order at iFixit, I purchased a new screen and home button assembly for an iPhone 5 that shattered and caused the screen to pop out slightly. I had an "apple pro" screwdriver kit, so I figured the pentalobe was in there, but it wasnt. So after installing the new screen successfully, it was just kinda dangling there until I could get the pentalobe screws out.
My Fix
when I first tried to unscrew the screws, it felt like I received the wrong size screwdriver. However, I took a deep breath, and realized that you have to be right on point and use firm but steady pressure to make the screwdriver "bite" into the screw. 10 minutes later, I had the whole assembly back together and buttoned up. Thanks IFIXIT
My Advice
patiences, firm, steady pressure, and keep the screwdriver level with the phone.
