iphone 4s battery replacement - with no cell service afterwards

Dying battery.

My Fix

Good - except I ran into a glitch where cell service did not come back immediately.

My Advice

Cell service did not work after I installed the battery. At first I thought I put the antenna guard in backwards... but checked photos at numerous sites and found it was correct.

Then I found a blog that suggested powering off, pulling the SIM card, powering it on without the SIM, card, powering off, inserting the SIM card, and powering on - then wireless came back to life. Whew!
