My Problem
The charging dock stoppped working on my son's iPhone 4s. Apple said they would exchange the phone for $199. I bought the dock and battery kit and replaced both. He also dropped it in the toilet. Not cool. While the parts were being shipped we kept the phone in rice.
My Fix
The instructions and photos were incredibly helpful. The repair went very smoothly. I used a sturdy guitar pick to pry certain parts loose. No issues after the repair. It charges just fine now. Saved $150
My Advice
Get some small containers and label from where you took which screws. Since there are at least 4 different size screws it is hard to keep them straight. have tweezers and a good light available.
