The old battery would die quickly once it reached 30% life left.

15 minutes after watching the YouTube video you posted. Went well, not issues and my daughter is very pleased with her new batter life
My Advice
I thought I broke something when disconnecting the battery because a very and I mean very small clip popped off. It was a ground according to your video, but fortunately your video had the same experience and I was able to reassemble with no trouble
