My Problem
I got a used iPhone 4S from a friend after my Samsung S4 died from my 9 month old son putting it in his mouth. Since the iPhone was a few years old, the battery was wearing out and wouldn't hold a charge for very long.
My Fix
I had my tech-savvy husband do the battery replacement. It took him no less than 5 minutes to replace the battery. It was a very tedious process, trying to get the new battery back in with all the parts aligned correctly.
My Advice
Stick with android phones! I was able to open the back of my Samsung and replace the battery in a matter of seconds. Thanks to iFixit for being a reliable place to go to for a new iPhone battery AND the "magic tools" to replace it.
