My Problem

My iPhone battery died

My Fix

The instructions were very clear and the needed tools were in the kit. The new battery works great and I'm good to go for another year or so. The best part was that I didn't have to make multiple appointments at the Apple Store just to get a new battery. The Apple Store repair process is the silliest thing I've ever seen. I can't imagine why there were so many people waiting to get service and management wasn't doing anything to lessen the wait.

My Advice

My experience was good. The only slight complaint is that the Phillips screw driver supplied in the kit lasted only 2-3 times before the tip was dull. Being fair, that is all you really need to get the new battery in but be careful not to torque it too much. I decided to re-install the proprietary Apple screws rather than change to Phillips (supplied in kit) because of this. The proprietary tool held up great.
