First time right-Iphone 5 Screen replace: saved huge money for buying new iPhone

My Problem

iPhone 5 screen broken completely

My Fix

The steps provided by fixit.com is enough to do. Before going to do repair, please watch the video and follow the steps, only hurdle I faced is re-assemble, especially to attach display assembly ports, screw for ports (3 screws!) took me little more time, because its delicate and my screw driver is not working the way to release the screws in the appropriate place to put back the screws ! Finally done successfully.

One note, you don't need to disconnect battery, Just turn power off your phone... that's enough and buy/get all necessary tools for this

otherwise it's very difficult to do.

Now it's working perfectly, First time right!.

My Advice

buy a complete set of

iPhone 5 Display Assembly (LCD, Front Panel/Digitizer Only) always from trusted source. Don't buy cheap and it

with iOpener and Magnetic Project Mat will greatly help you to re-assemble quickly!

Carefully remove the broken glass it may hurt you and dispose safely.
