My Problem

Wanted to replace the bottom panel of my Macbook Pro with Retina. The secure screws require a special tool called a P5 Pentalobe driver. This P5 tool is not readily available in local hardware stores and the Mac Store does not help!!! i wanted to do it right so i stumbled upon I Fix It's web page and found a proper profesional tool.

My Fix

The 10 Pentalobe screws were super tiny and it took a minute to figure out that the driver does fit and you must set the Pentalobe tool in as deep as it can go and turn slowly or you could easily strip them. All snug and fit perfectly flush once i got going. Looks like i had not even touched it. Great tool

My Advice

As soon as i knew the tool i had purchased from I Fix It correctly fit those Pentalobe screws I was on my way to a freshly clean bottom panel for my beautiful Macbook Pro. I would recommend any one replacing these screws to buy a well made tool like this one from I Fix It. Ensure you buy the correct tool and take your time.
