My Problem
I wanted to add an SSD to boot from so that everything would run faster than the original 500 GB 5400 RPM HD.
My Fix
The repair/upgrade was pretty easy. It takes some time if you've never done it before but it's pretty straight forward. The only issue I had was that my wifi antenna plate didn't fit perfectly snug with both hard drives in place. One of the screws going into the hard drive through the antenna plate wouldn't fit so I had to leave it out when reassembling the Mac Mini.
My Advice
Take your time! Try and do this in an open area where you have a decent amount of room to work. If you buy an SSD, you will have to reformat it before you can get your Mac Mini to restore the drive with your original drive.
