Very Very Easy

My Problem

I have an IMAC from 2007

Harddisk had just given up

Tried to repair using Disk Utility, but to no success

My Fix

Very, very easy

Before purchasing anything, I watched maybe 5 different Youtube videos on how to change the harddisk

Harddisk arrived really quick (had to by a suction cup and a special screwdriver head)

Changing hardisk really easy

Once machine reassembled, popped in O/S disk, reformatted Harddisk (just to be safe) and restored from Time Machine

From start to finish 3 hours max

Really feel pleased with myself
