Battle with the Bulge

My Problem

MacBook Pro battery had a swollen cell.

My Fix

Carefully removed the previous battery and placed it in a ziploc bag and placed it outside the house to take to the recycler. Put the new one in using my handy-dandy iFixIt toolkit with the pentalobe bits. Machine is the haps, now! Go, team!

My Advice

Get the relatively inexpensive little screwdriver bit set from iFixIt that has all the various sizes and wonky bits you'll need. Buy plenty of cheap decoy screwdrivers and leave them around the house in various drawers and other places so noone uses your set except you. Be VERY ANAL about returning the bits to their proper home when done so you never lose/have to hunt for a screw bit ever.
